OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR
OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE AWARDS

Each year the Shorewood PTSA presents a Golden Acorn Award to a person who has given exemplary volunteer service to the Shorewood community. We also present an Outstanding Educator Award to recognize an individual who has provided educational opportunities for children beyond the normal scope of their job. This year Shorewood PTSA also gave an Outstanding Advocate Award.  These individuals receive an award and a contribution is made in their name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation.

Many thanks to the Shorewood Culinary Arts program for providing delicious and beautifully prepared refreshments.

In Memoriam

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Karen Clark, our Membership Chairperson. She was a strong advocate for the PTSA organization and the students at Shorewood High School.
