A new approach for PTSA meetings

Welcome to the new school year!

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year, and a very special greeting to families new to Shorewood! Our PTSA works closely with the administration and staff to give all students the best possible school experience. We invite you to become a member of PTSA so that you can be a part of ensuring your child's success!

membership

PTSA works as a partner with the school staff to meet the needs of SW students. Membership is only $12.00 single/$20.00 per couple. Only members receive the SW student phone directory. They also receive a voice and a vote at our meetings. As a PTSA member, you are automatically a member of the Washington State PTA www.wastatepta.org and of the National PTA www.pta.org.

To volunteer send a blank email to swptsa@gmail.com with 20xx in the subject line where xx represents the year your youngest child will graduate.

funding

Our PTSA programs are funded by our membership dues and one fundraiser Pass-the-Hat. Our goal this year is to raise $13,500. Pass-the-Hat happens on BTS/Curriculum night on September 16th. We're happy to accept cash or checks that evening, or through the school office anytime by either drop off or mail. If your company offers "matching funds" we would be grateful if you include Shorewood PTSA!

PTSA Meeting

Sept.7th - 7pm

Monthly meetings occur on the 1st Tuesday of every month ay 7:00PM in the Shorewood Library.
